I used to want my work to bring forth some sort of profound question, but after many experiences and being faced with new anxieties, I returned to a more authentic relationship with my work. Painting became about living in a moment of peace. Both my writing and my artwork have the same purpose: my true intention for my work is not to be one of questioning or some deeper meaning, it is to provide a moment of peace and joy to my audience.
A moment to escape reality and just be.
